Rescue Black Lab Mix and Golden Retriever Mix Dogs for Adoption in Knoxville, Tennessee

Cassidy came back to us 11/1/2024 because her owner passed away suddenly. She is approximately 9 years old, a Black Lab mix, 78lbs, up to date on all her shots, and spayed. Cassidy is a playful, loves toys and is gentle with them; tug-o-war, and puzzle games. She also loves cuddling with blankets. She is a very smart girl; house trained, and has learned she must walk calmly when out on walks. She does not bark at people or dogs that she passes, even if the other dog is barking at her. She very rarely barks at things outside despite looking out the window quite often. However, she wants to be the only dog in your home for all your attention. She is very loving, loves belly rubs and pet and of course attention. She will let you know her desires via nudging your hands with her head if you haven't given adequate affection. This sweet soul is ready for a good home to spend the rest of her life in who will appreciate all the love she has to give! She would make an excellent companion for anyone. Again, although not reactive to other dogs, she needs to be the dog in the home. She plays well with others dogs if monitored; but we don’t believe she ever learned how to play properly with other dogs. Adoption Fee: $250
