The Miniature Schnauzer is a small and sturdy breed known for its distinctive look, including a wiry coat, bushy eyebrows, and a beard. These dogs are friendly, intelligent, and adaptable, making them excellent family pets. They are highly social and enjoy being around people, often forming strong bonds with their owners. Miniature Schnauzers are energetic and require regular exercise to stay healthy and happy. Farfel’s Farm & Rescue was founded on the idea that each dog deserves a loving home and the chance for a happy life. We are so thrilled to be able to rescue these amazing dogs from urgent situations in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas and Cancun, Mexico. Working with a dedicated team of volunteers, the dogs are pulled from high-kill shelters because they’ve been recognized for the gifts they will bring to a loving family. They are then transported by specially licensed vans to Colorado for a second chance at life. The dogs are evaluated and treated for any medical issues before being transitioned to their new family, where they can become accustomed to having a family’s love, a warm bed and plenty of healthy food!
