Rescue Weimaraner and Labrador Retriever Dogs for Adoption in Boulder, Colorado

The Weimaraner is a graceful and noble breed known for its distinctive silver gray coat and striking light eyes. Originally bred in Germany for hunting large game such as deer, boar, and bear, Weimaraners are versatile working dogs that excel in various roles, including hunting, tracking, search and rescue, and as loving companions. With their high energy levels and intelligence, Weimaraners require plenty of exercise and mental stimulation to thrive and make loyal, affectionate family pets.

Farfel’s Farm & Rescue was founded on the idea that each dog deserves a loving home and the chance for a happy life. We are so thrilled to be able to rescue these amazing dogs from urgent situations in Texas, New Mexico, Arkansas and Cancun, Mexico. Working with a dedicated team of volunteers, the dogs are pulled from high-kill shelters because they’ve been recognized for the gifts they will bring to a loving family. They are then transported by specially licensed vans to Colorado for a second chance at life. The dogs are evaluated and treated for any medical issues before being transitioned to their new family, where they can become accustomed to having a family’s love, a warm bed and plenty of healthy food!
